Marriage is the first institution designed by God at Creation. God fashioned humankind as male and female in His own image; He instituted marriage, a covenant-based union of the two genders physically, emotionally, and spiritually, spoken of in Scripture as “one flesh.” God, the designer of marriage, has provided us with a plan for how marriage works best.
Family Ministries.
Family Ministries focuses on the family as a whole and on each individual that comprises the unit. Family Ministries is focused on strengthening the relationships between the individuals in the family — the relationship that connects husband and wife in marriage, parent and child in a unique parent-child bond, family to family in the community of faith and in the wider society.

The Oakwood University Church Grief Support Ministry is for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Grief Ministry features Biblically-based concepts to help in the midst of healing.

Our mission is to meet the unique needs of singles in our church and community by fostering connection, support, spiritual growth, enrichment, healing, and fellowship. We aim to nurture meaningful relationships with God and others, creating a community where singles thrive in faith, maturity, and service.
Guided by the spirit of Romans 1:12, “That is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith,” we design our fellowship, worship, Bible studies, and events with your needs in mind. At F.U.S.E, you’ll find your heart inspired, your life enriched, and your relationships strengthened—especially your relationship with the Lord.
Our ministry offers a variety of opportunities, including:
