Pastor Lloyd H. Wilson
A native of New Haven CT, Pastor Lloyd H. Wilson has served in active ministry for over 50 years. Pastor Wilson has obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Divinity, and Master of Arts degree(s) from Oakwood University, Andrews University, and LaSierra University.
Pastor Wilson has served in the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and LaSierra University before coming to serve on the Pastoral Staff of the Oakwood University Church in 1997.
Pastor Wilson accepted this responsibility at the Oakwood University Church with the hope of uniting the university with the church, while serving the needs of both community and students.
Beyond his primary role as Associate Pastor, Pastor Wilson also has a passion for outreach in the Huntsville community as he is often seen assisting with the “Meals on Wheels” program and actively supporting the area public and private schools.
Pastor Wilson’s favorite Bible verse is: “In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed” (Psalm 31:1).
